Endless Winter

It seems like winter is never going to end. No amount of lotion or cream can mask my miserably dry skin.
Lately, I've been really loving my brother's coats haha. Something about a large over-sized coat and a turtleneck or neck-hugging sweater looks minimalist yet sophisticated. As always, I'm wearing (almost) all black.

Layered Plaid

I have a lot of photos of me in this plaid shirt. It's my favorite and it's so comfortable. Truth is I found it in the men's sale section of Kohls.
I wasn't freezing because underneath the plaid I was wearing a thick wool cardigan. Sneaky sneaky ;) And of course, I'm wearing black leggings. What else is new.

After the Storm

After Philosophy class, my friends and I explored the hidden gems of our university's snow-capped campus. I think this is going to become a regular routine after Philosophy because these spots have quite a view. It's also an excellent place for a photo-op.
Due to climate change and global warming, New York has experienced days below zero and days where it feels like spring.
(Normally, the temperature does not really go below zero. But I doubt it will ever be like that again.)
When the weather is below zero (as in -7°C or 19°F) it is also unbearably windy. So when 34°F (or 1°C) weather rolls around, it feels warm enough to go out in a sweater.

Can you hear me? | VLOG Jan 2014

My cousin is in town for the lunar new year. We visited Grand Central Terminal, the 9/11 memorial and went to church.

Chinese New Year

I hope you all had an awesome Chinese New Year!
Since I haven't seen the Chinese New Year parade in Chinatown in ages, I decided to go see what the vibe was like. It was pretty boring. The most exciting thing was poppin that firecracker barrel thingy. I kind of want to go to the Puerto Rican Day parade though.
I also saw the cutest little boy ever.
